Nine years ago, my friend and fellow business woman, Bonnie Ross-Parker, told me she was writing a book about networking. That book, “Walk in My Boots ~ the Joy of Connecting” became an instant hit and a new classic on how to grow your business by meeting people.

Bonnie’s book launched a very productive period in her life. She became a leading business woman in Atlanta, GA and a champion for women’s businesses. I had the distinct pleasure of working with Bonnie during the launch phase of her business, and coined her tagline, “America’s Connection Diva.”

Not content to be an admired author and speaker, Bonnie next launched her networking business, “The Joy of Connecting” (http://www.thejoyofconnecting.com), to provide women with a networking format and venue. What started as a single location in Atlanta has mushroomed to nearly 200 locations in several states, and the JOC is still growing!

At the root of it all, is Bonnie’s genuine desire to help others. She is passionate about connecting people for friendship and business. Bonnie says she’s “marketing with heart.” Indeed, she is.

I admire my friend, Bonnie. I’m delighted to be attending the 9th anniversary celebrating the start of the Joy of Connecting, this weekend in Atlanta. I’ll be mingling with dozens of women from Atlanta and around the US, who are gathering to meet, network, share, and thank Bonnie Ross-Parker for leadership.

You need to look no further than Bonnie, to understand what true eFame and Fortune is. Bonnie, you rock! Congratulations on all of your success!
